The Avery Labels that I chose to use for our cigar bags, that is.
Our cigar roller provided us with the labels for the actual cigars but, since our guests had to take them home (they couldn't smoke in the hotel), he provided us with baggies and I chose to make the labels for the bags.
I figured I would just purchase some 1" round labels at the local office supply store and then use their template to make a quick and simple label. I was wrong. The template that Avery provided did not match up when I printed it out. No matter how much I adjusted everything, it just wasn't working.
Finaly, I traced the label with a black marker, scanned it, opened it up in Illustrator and traced the image in a new layer. I added the design that I wanted and then printed it out from there. I couple of minor adjustments had to be made, and they never ended up perfectly centered, but the end result was much better then I had when doing the labels in Word.
What was your best success when it came to round labels?
